Article Char Equipment

I am looking at a northern Bou hunt and one option is fishing for Arctic Char. Just wondering what sort of rod/reel weight of line and tackle would be best to take? I will be limited to 70 pounds for everything, so certainly not tons of room, but I think I would like to bring basic stuff so I can at least try my luck at fishing.

I would check with the outfitter (assuming there is one) They will often have some fishing gear for clients.

Glad you found a spot to hunt here's a few Arctic char from when I was managing tree River Lodge they're great to catch and eat
