Crawling Valley Boat Launch

Anyone know if you can still access the campground boat launch? Wanted to take the boat out one last time this weekend, but don't want to drive all the way there is there's no access.

The campground voicemail says that the gates remain open for fishing, but I have no idea how long ago that was recorded.

Gates were open all last winter so im guessing you're good to go. I may go out thursday.

Open last Sunday.

Fishing was slow.

Probably 5000 birds on north end. When they took off it was so loud, you couldn't hear the guy next to you.

Some blasting was going on.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I'll head out and see what happens.

I rebuilt my outboard this summer so for me it's more about getting it back in the water one more time to keep tuning it - but if I can find some fall walleye then that's a bonus.

I'll post how it goes!
