Never thought of looking there... Is there anything you can't get on ebay

I thought wholesale was pretty cheap compared to TFH or BPS. Where do all the other fly guys get their's from around Calgary or do you mostly shop online?

Sounds like a pretty slick deal...maybe they're just clearing them out since the end of the fly season is coming soon?

Do you know if this is just the Calgary store, or if it's all of 'em? I don't do the fly thing, but I could use a few for when I'm stuck doing the fly behind a bobber thing, and for ice fishing for trout

This "sale" has been on all season. Literally. Started at least 2 months ago if not longer

I go to Fish Tales for the service. I think all flies come from the same place. You own tied flies last longer generally. I think it is because they don't use head cement in china. Therefore the thread breaks faster. I would love to see how fast them folks can tie.

P.S. Fish Tales has a sale bin...$8 a dozen...go take a peek.

Sure that would be great.. you can pm me.. thanks Like I said before, just started fly fishing, set me and my son up with gear and trying to build up some fly stock. We got our feet wet for the first time yesterday on the Bow in Calgary. This will be a steep learning curve for the two of us.. Thanks again. Any tips from you fly guys out there is always appreciated..
