He has some that are 300 rods and is selling them for 100. you should check it out. I know the guy is in Didsbury but he may be able to bring it into Calgary to show you.
Over the years I've seen individual products go on sale at Wholesale but I've not experienced a store wide type sale on their rods. Usually if they are dropping a certain model or line they will put them on sale but they don't advertise it. Rick.
Ya i was in wholesale last week on the first day of the sale and not really much on sale did pick up a light spinning rod on sale at 20% off
I checked out the Fishin Hole sale a couple of weeks ago some really good markdowns on a few items and the standard 25% off on rods that are a little higher priced to begin with and a few reels 40% off but over all I think the Fishin hole sale is a little over hyped
Last year they had a sale a couple of weeks before Xmas. I don't think it was store wide but there were a lot of things in the fishing department going for good prices. I ended up buying a bait chucking setup for a very good price.
Your best bet is to call them and ask.

thanks for the replies guys, i am apparently getting a couple gift cards for doing work for some friends so im going to get a new 4wt fly rod. i remeber i was there last year and they had an awesome sale on their fly gear, but i just cant remeber when thats was.
Was in there a few days ago. They had some good deals on a few models of discontinued fly rods , which they always seem to do this time of year. Nothing really spectacular though.
