There is a guy on YouTube that found a 1911 and proceeds to strip and clean it. Lots of little videos but I found it neat to watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B28_VN8Q6YE

Thank you all for the responses. Just thought it was neat, i found this old gun soooooo far from civilization, really cool to think of stories behind it? I do have more photos of it, somewhere. Ill see what i can dig up. I look forward to heading up there again this august and telling the camp owner what ive learnt here.other then float plane the only way to reach this place would be by snowmobile likely from buffalo narrows sask. Approx 150 miles.
