I'd like to applaud Wholesale Sports in Grande Praire for the service provided today. After joining the summer fly swap in this forum I had a recipe to fill and the extensive tying section was well stocked in every item I needed. Beyond that, the salesmen, who's name I regretfully did not get, guided me through the isles to each item on my list. He even showed me photos on his phone of his catch at a local lake last weekend and pulled out a binder with pictures of trophies caught near by in the last year or so. An excellent, unexpected experience.
For what it's worth, he said that Swan Lake is pretty well open but still damn cold by belly boat.
