Default Crown Land near Stony Plain

I'm working quite a bit away from where I live and just put a new scope on my 22, and plan on scoping out a new rifle soon as well. I'm just wondering if there is some crown land near by to Stony that would be a decent place to do a little sight in. I'm not terribly familiar with the area.

Thanks

There's some small parcels but the majority is out by Entwhistle. Look on Ihunter land maps and you'll find some. :-)

...and if you end up Entwistle way, the Wildwood shooting range isn't that much father away...

PM ghfalls or bull master on this site
I’m sure if you carried yourself well in a conversation and offered a meet and greet, they may entertain helping you out. I know I’d reach out to them if I were in a pinch. Worst they would say is no but you may gain a new friend.

I would take you out myself to my cousins place by Genesee but sadly I’m going out of town for work this week.

I appreciate that. I am working night shift and I start at 4, 6 days a week.
I will try and reach out and see what I can arrange.

I thought the wild wood range posted awhile ago that only people in the wildwood area could join the gun club .

That's interesting... There's no mention of that on their web site or registration form that I can find...

No, that’s incorrect. If you have a license and the fee, you can join.

I like it there because it’s not too busy. I do most of my load development there.
