Default not big but plenty

Any of you guys fishing know of some lakes 1-1 1/2 away from edm that has lots of catching of fish they dont have to be big or med they can be small,taking my three kids out,just want them to stay somewhat interested.Another Q.if im not fishing only my kids 6-4-3 do I need a liscense?

I take my my kids to Star lake. Use use some power bait and you should catch a few.

You won't need a license if it's only them fishing, but do keep in mind that you may end up handling a lot of the gear since they are so young, so you may end up fishing yourself. In that case you would need a license.

I always recommend Nakamun to people wanting to take out kids. There are a lot of perch in there and when they are biting it's a lot of fun catching for the kids. The bite has been off and on again so you just have to luck in on which day you go. GL!

vegreville trout pond is child freindly as you can fish close to your vehicle and there are plenty of perch along with the trout. hope you and the kids have fun.
