Hey, you know what is funny? You guys in Alberta have limited opportunities at turkeys and have multiple post on hunting them and us guys on the BC site are talking about Brad Pitt! That is funny to me!...and another glass of wine, eh, Pierre?

Wife and I just finished watching "The one who flew over the cookoo nest"

While dinning on wild turkey with turkey soup on the side.

Were in the deep south from you all.

:-)

Hey! How's it going ?

Brad Pitt in the Seven Monkeys has got nothing on me.
:-)

You got turkeys in BC then put 'em up.

So far AB people are putting you to shame from what I've seen.
Rootin' a tootin' I hear the whole town a shootin' just 1 yard short of the green.

Soon the hens will be flyin' streight as the sord of Orian,
And the Toms and the Gobblers pass us by.

I have to say, this has been an entertaining thread. It was great going on my first Turkey hunt, and I never knew about the Kings of Spring till this year. Not many Turkey's in Edmonton area, or up north where I scare Elk. I'm hooked. Or is that Snooe'd? After reading some of the posts of members who have "gobbled" before, I wish I had done it sooner. My only regret is not getting a proper weigh-in for my Tom.
Anyways, I'm not sure what sticks in my mind more; hearing the Tom's gobble in the dawn, or watching one run up a mountainside without doing a face plant.
