Default hunting coyotes from vehicle?

ok. this old girl has been sitting on the edge of a coyote field for 20 yrs. and will probably not move for another 20 till it's towed away. i was going to use it as a coyote?deer blind but.........
i suppose that technically it is still a vehicle but give a guy a break. it would be perfect but do you think it is illegal to shoot off the back of it?

I talked to F&W about this a few years back as I wanted to hunt out of an old combine that hadn't moved for 10+ yrs and they didn't have any issue with it. I would say call F&W and to check and I'm sure they won't have an issue with it

not sure the rules on this kind of thing but I would suspect it is illegal. In Texas they call them mobile blinds, here not so sure.

Just take out your battery from your pickup if you park in a field...

Personally looking at that rig I wouldn't worry about it.

No...it was sarcastic remark...

I envision an old redneck stating, "Well if it don't run... yas may as well shoot from it!"

I doubt that any F&W Officer would ticket you for hunting from it. If he did it'd probably get laughed out of court IMO. They've got better things to do anyway. The yotes are used to seeing it so I doubt that the sight of it would effect anything that way. I wouldn't lose any sleep over hunting from it. Good luck!

I wouldn't worry about it. There are loads of yote's that get shot everyday by guys just driving around and using the good ol' mirror from the drivers seat. Deer is a different story IMO, but with coyotes I say go for it.
