Default The Positive Thread

Lots of stuff going on right now. March is often cabin fever time as is plus all the other stuff in the news right now. I was went to Costco last night in Leduc and was blown away by how friendly and helpful everyone was. Was a different feeling in the air, people were helping each out with the line ups and a guy dropped his card and kept walking the guy behind him picked it up and ran it over to the owner people were bringing carts back for others. Left and filled up for $0.76! Gas is cheap! Been go go go in Alberta lately and this whole ordeal has made me realize how grateful I am for what I have and for my family and the extra time I have been able to spend with them lately! Please post what’s positive in your life and stay on the sunny side!!

Was in a line up of cars due to an accident. Let a guy go ahead of me and the look on his face was priceless.

Dodger.

PS, bought a new laptop cover in Real Tree camo and it came with a key board cover. Now my spelling mistakes have skyrocketed because I can't see half of the keys. :0

In a week or two Toilet Paper prices will plummet due to everyone stockpiling a years worth. Sales will be awesome!

Had a son yesterday, 3rd and last kid to go along with his 2 sisters, family is complete. There is always a bright spot in all the bad news that’s happening these days.

Very close relatives won $1,000,000 lotto jackpot just a few weeks ago and it seriously couldn't have happen to better people.

Couldn't get half the stuff we needed from Walmart tonight, but they had ridiculous clearance price on baby and toddler snowsuit, filled the cart and will be dropping off to the needy tomorrow. Try to spread a little good when we can.

I got my Colt Anaconda with 8" barrel and 2x Leopold scope sighted in today at the range. Shot 100 rounds through it with about 8 of the on duty RSO and range staff coming in to shoot a cylinder. Was great fun.

Congrats! There’s nothing going to top that!

I woke up this morning (that’s something right there....lol) and I put up my last four coyotes for the season. Later on while looking online for a small kitchen table for my Daughter, I found a solid oak table with six oak framed and apholstered chairs that I picked up for $200. It looks great in the kitchen.

The future’s so bright I gotta wear shades.

Decided to match my mood to our Cocker Pup.
I mirrored her all day and got much joy watching her charge through snow drifts

I ought to be ok assuming western civilization doesn’t collapse under its own stupidity, I’m prepared for a normal amount of time for most things. Yeah I like him, now I evened the odds a little, before it was my wife and my 2 daughters vs me and the dog, the males have drawn even!

Was in the dentist chair for 5 hours yesterday, got 4 or 5 needles in my upper lip and this morning feel like someone punched me in the face a few times. But finally getting some well over due dental work done that has been causing my life to be miserable.

We are just about at that magic time when we can ice fish in tee shirts or shoot gophers on the snow.
I love spring.

We had the grandkids here for 10 days, was absolutely wonderful. Daughter and her guy came back from Mexico unharmed, and hopefully without c19.

Someone in this forum said there is nothing like hearing 'dood moning gumpa' and he was absolutely right.

I have no mortgage, a little money in the bank, and spring is around the corner.

Everything is mostly good.
