Ufa cards are free and with membership you get cash back at some point, likely age 65. The more you buy the better the discount.
I have 8 cards out to family and clients.
One day last week I saved nearly .30c/L. I bought a thousand dollars worth of fuel. 18 Jerry cans lol

Top up in a small no name place an hour from Vernon $1.99 then saw prices in Vernon at $2.21
Kelowna is sitting at $2.11…

All fuel cards are free I believe. I have Coop and GTI. Coop is also a membership so you get money back as well (yearly equity cheque, can be substantial if you buy a lot of fuel). GTI is cheaper though. Petro gives bulk discounts but need to buy a lot. You do get petro points though

$204.9 on the island in Nanaimo gouging the Alberta tourists is what that is. BC does have some city specific gas taxes as well in Vancouver and Victoria that add to the price

Reg gas 1.458 in Lloyd this morning at UFA diesel was 1.641 just fueled everything up again DEF was 1.164, filled the truck and my 2 empty DEF jugs.
Compared to pump prices here I saved over $50

Thanks to all that posted the price, but please post clear gas or dyed gas, or diesel dyed or clear price, so we can find the right fit, thanks

Just paid $1.599 for gas (clear) at the shell in Clairsholm. 100km north, where the terminal is in Calgary fuel is still $1.849.
Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Do you need to be a member of a certain club to buy fuel there? I don’t think I have ever filled up at the UFA…

Sign at our local UFA says membership is $5.
Clear gas was $150.7 tax included.

The Coop membership equity payments are only for purchases at your member store - if you use the Coop card at a different location you will not be given any equity payments on it (some Coops do have multiple locations in a geographic area) With UFA your purchases count regardless of which UFA location you purchase in - however it is a farmer owned business and their equity allocations reflect that. If you aren't buying marked diesel you really don't get anything much back on your purchases.

I got mine so many years ago I think it was free but 5 bucks wouldn't slow me down when I am saving 40 bucks per fill.

A guy in Lloydminster just got and is handing out 175 UFA cards. His profit sharing in 20 years will be huge lol

It was 1.45 when i filled up in airdrie today. Felt like i had won the lottery… i can’t believe more of the general population doesn’t take advantage of it, since it’s at least 25 bucks savings per tank. Totally worth the $5 membership!

My biggest complaint is everybody is finding out about the savings. I’ve been using UFA since we got our motorhome (easy to get in and out). Now when I go to the UFA in Lloyd there is always a lineup. First world problems, haha.

So many of the people there stick in their debit card then stand there for 15 mins when it doesn't do anything. Then Darren comes out and uses his card to get them pumping gas. I watched that happen 5x one time i was there

I think it is people not realizing you need a UFA member card. They just show up and think you can just be anyone and pay without a membership.

The issue they have is they aren't members and/or don't have a fuel card. Needs to go in first. Saw a guy from Quebec having that issue in Hinton. Saw the cheap price on gas buddy, didn't know how needed a membership. To be honest it never occurred to me to swipe mine to let him gas up.

I've been a UFA member for the past 10 years, get your membership card linked to their Fuel Card Lock system and save some cash.
D.
July 21 - Costco R/D was $1.699 this morning.
UFA Sylvan - $1.432
49 Lt = Savings compared to Costco $0.267 Lt or $13.08.
See .........

House Cards
Most bulk stations have a house card. Just go in ask for the guest/house card, do your thing on the pin pad, fuel up, then pay inside.
No membership required. Bada bing bada boom
Great if you don't have a bulk station in your town or only fill at the bulk station occasionally.

Now that I never knew. The UFA in Hinton must not like Quebecers. They did do that when he went in and asked.
