The basic question is sledding into backwoods lake for what purpose?

If its fishing, really there is Orloff and Otter, and that is about it. Not a lot of other lakes in the area that are sled in only, at least for fishing that is.

There is Amadeau, which is a bit of a run and great for opening up the sled on, but not really a fishing lake as it is very shallow. A few other small bush lakes east of Calling, but again, shallow sloughs and no fish.

If it is an adventure - fishing trip, the Swan Hills to Fox Creek area has some back country lakes you might look at.
