Default Gravy Ground Beef

I have been utilizing my burger more in recipes which are cooked well done.
Started thinking that there must be a way to keep it juicy and so I started incorporating powdered beef gravy mix into my meat grinder when I grind my beef.

Now I can't go back.
We like tacos , but I like to use my own chili powder blend and do not use the commercial taco seasoning mixes. But my own chili powder was not binding in a sauce like consistency- Add powdered gravy right in the meat and it is amazing.

I brown the ground beef/gravy mix add chili powder and stir in water. It hydrates and it thickens slightly.

Made burgers on the BBQ and they were juicy with the powdered gravy mix incorporated with the raw meat.

Meat loaf etc. It is my new go to standard.

Would work well with venison, I am thinking

I guess for me, the reason I prefer the gravy is the thickening aspect.

Bags of gravy. Wow

Thank you.

Now I have to get me a legal deer.

I have five mulies currently sleeping by the house and eating the lawn. They are not legal to shoot.

That is funny. I used to live in Turner Valley and hunted WMU 406 Kananaskis about 60 days a year. Biggest Muley I saw in over 20 years living there was in my front yard right in the middle of town across from the school. Not Legal. lolololol

Was 10am after a unsuccessful hunt west of town.

Figures!!!!
