The rear sled is from UFA, just a 72"x 24 plastic with a plywood lid i built on top. The front one is Pelican 75, with a plywood lid i made.
I prefer the Pelican unit, bit wider and fairly strong.
In front of the Pelican is the tree cutter, keeps the regrowth down.
Sharp blades will cut up 1" and some times bigger stuff with the wing cutters.
It will cut any brush i can run over with the Snowmobile.
Cleans up the trail in a hurry at 40 km hr.

Alot of nice looking yotes going out east!

Awesome work guys! Have you played around with load development much? How much do you find the distance the shot is taken from affects entrance/exit holes?

The distance has huge effects on fragmation, expansion in general.there is no perfect bullet for coyotes or just game in general because shot placement is never the same depending on angles, running game, standing.there is so many varieables involved dealing fur friendly firearms.distance,FPS,all I can tell ya is make these 22cals shoot half inch at a 100yrs on paper.and kill em when the shot is presented.

secret coulee inspired me to take the camera out again.

+15 down here today. strange to be open water rat trapping in early February. open water around the edges and huts.

if being organization is the the key to effiency. i'm ******!

caught 4 skunks in the same set, back to back checks. the first 3 where cool because i was able to extract the juice with a syringe for lure making. but i have enough now. hope i don't get another. how many can there be?

love snaring coyotes in the wide open. all the snared yotes i caught today where still in great shape. super fast kills, zero fur damage from the snare.great!

[IMG][/IMG]

also had a sweet double in foot traps at spot where i've been battling a digger. hope i got the culprit. fur was amazing aswell. end of the day, low light, pictures suck. great day!

Well, I've been trapping steady since October 1st but I pulled all of my coyote snares and I'm going to call it a season. I have about a month of downtime before the Spring thaw and I start trapping muskrat and beaver again. It was a great first season for me and I learned a ton.

I'm gonna end my season on a high note with this nice big, healthy male......Razorback.

Congrats to all you guys who are shipping fur. Haven't checked this thread in a long time, but some of those pics that were posted were awesome. Hunter dave and TFNG had some really nice pics. recently and they show how many hours of hard work they put in, but Hunter Daves neighbors probably think he's a little weird.
Hope you are all rewarded with decent prices for all your hard work and dedication.

24" piece of rebar with a nut and washer welded on top. sometimes the double finned super stakes. i like the rebar better, as you don't have to carry an extra tool, to drive them down.they also come out of the ground easier.

you can see the top of the rebar stake. very near the middle,of the middle pic.
