Default Pine Newell or chain

I'm not asking for anyones honey hole or anything like that.
but i was wondering if the ice it thick enough to drive on and an area on the lake to fish i havent ice fished in 3 or 4 years and my girlfriend wants to go out so i just want a spot to catch a few fish. like i said not looking for a honey hole just a place to fish any info is greatly apreciated.

hello if you go to pine , from the boat launch about 50 yards out and 10 or so to the right, chartruse or white jig head with a small minnow, lots of walleye and burbs, if you also want pike just move in to shore a little closer, chain lakes is almost a guarantee you will catch fish and lots of them, a small cheese ball just off the bottom (veleta) i used a small split shot and a sz 12 treble hook, end parking lot 30-40 ft off shore, lots of holes drilled there can't miss the spot. was there a week ago and lots of ice but as always check first before driving on the ice

Default Chain lakes with my dad

heading out tomorrow,he is 70 ,,,we know what where and why
lol,i got the ole hand ice drill,i geuss i will
drill holes and he fishes,i think limit is 5 each
eh

might want to take along a canoe too, dont know if the ice is all gone, but it wont be in much shape for walking if its like the lakes around here

Default ice thick

We fished it today
2ft plus,3 groups of
fisherman
one guy drove over to us
then drove over to the west side of the lake
we caught 6 in total
good day first fish of the year
