Default Whitney Lakes PP...Ross Lake

Has anyone fished Ross lake recently?

What other lakes would you recommend for shore fishing or with the boat in the area?

The fishing in Laurier has really picked up in the last couple of years. No real lunkers but lots of action

Thats nice to hear. Used to be very good for perch there. Nothing big, but lots of action.

Laurier has had some great action this summer, pike are on the border line for keepers and have gotten some nice sized perch out of there.

Haven't tried Ross yet, but if launching a boat its best to go to Laurier and launch at the south end. Don't use the day use launch. its very shallow and lots of weeds.
