Default Bow NW

Anyone been out yet? I read spinning is tough this time of year but i'll still give it a go....especially during run-off but I am looking to try my luck at fly fishing on Sunday shouldice. Being a newbie dont expect much expect frustration but it should be fun. Thoeretically if they are still hitting streamers shouldnt spinning still be plausible?

Also since they close the NW Bow for the rainbow spawn will the removal of the weir change the closure???

They should be closer to the bank during runoff . . . so you don't have to get super close (or in) the water. Be safe!

Went for the lunch hour special around Prince's Island again. Love getting out for an hour to excape the pc screen. Anyhow hooked up with 3 in just 45 min of fishing. Landed a 17" Bow, lost a 14" one right at the shore and had 2 more hook ups and shooks. I believe fly fisherman call those LDR's lol.

Anyways they were caught on a Buzz bomb with a minijig for a hook. mmmm mmm good.
