Thought I go for a drive and check out a couple places again, good to see the Bow was wide open, flowing high and muddy, sure wish it was May 8th!!!! lots of icebergs coming down still.

found me some open water!! whoohoo
second lake I tried had one small open spot, didnt manage any fish today, but I figure by late next week the water will have warmed up a bit and the pike should be getting hungry.
still a great day to be out there with the long rod in my hand. had to google how to use it again its been so long!
