Cold Lake Report

Hit 15+ lakers today in 4 hrs all on pink lady herring combo, biggest 13 lbs, almost all in the 8 lb range.Fished out at the island in 100-150 ft of water, 100 ft out on the line counter, fantastic day on the water, not a ripple, few boats around us,all in all, good start to the summer season. Cheers

Every report you post makes me want to head out and give it a try!! I have never been to Cold but you sure make it sound like I a trip I must make!!

I grew up in Northern Ontario with 10 lakes 15 minutes from my door, fishing, swimming, growing up was and still is amazing.Cold Lake is a class by itself, hands down!! To be able to catch 20 pound lake trout within 6 minutes of my house,big walleye, pike, perch,to be able to watch fighter jets right above my head while Im out trolling around on the lake, all this plus more right at my door step, absolutely amazing place to live, work and raise a family, definately a gem that all Albertians should experience!!
