Default Family Fun Day - Sunday - Wabamum

Please feel free to join Barry Jay's Marine, and Rainbow Marine at the main Wabamun townsite peer this Sunday June 14, from 11AM - 5PM.

Please feel free to bring the family down, and have some fun. There will be 20 brand new boats out there free to use (along with the gas), running all day Sunday. Everything from fishing boats to wakeboard boats, they will be there. Please call either dealership should you require more details.

As a final note, there will be pro fisherman, and boating experts on site to answer any questions you might have.

Also please note, all boats will have a chaparone, and unfortunately due to the expected attendace, the boats will be used for cruising, and watersports only. Nonetheless, feel free to come and demo some 70 mph bowriders, and an $80,000 fishing boat. In total there will be 20brand new boats out for use, including 5 fishing boats.

Happy Fishing.

Forgot to mention, there will be concession vendors on site.

It was a fantastic event last year...

It should also be mentioned that the event is 100% family orientated... So if your available this weekend, bring the family out to the wabamum for some great family fun.

Hope to see you there.

I'll be helping out at the Wabamun Watershed Mangement Council table from noon on, promoting WWMC programs to keep the lake healthy. Stop by and say hi!

Also, the Fishin' Hole will be there giving demonstrations and holding a family casting competition.

BTW, the boat launch will be closed to the public for this event.

Thank-you to everyone who helped make this event such a success, from volunteers and vendors... through to of course, attendees.

Great to see so many families out there having so much fun on such a beautiful day.

Hope to see you all next year.
