Default Diesel Prices

I filled up at the Coop in CAlgary this morning and the price was 129.9. I guess as long as we keep buying it they will keep soaking us. Guess the price of food will go up again. Hope all those oil people enjoy their christmas bonuses that we are paying for.

Not me. The diesel will sit in the garage at these ridiculous prices. I don't generally have garage trucks, but at .30-.40c less I will drive the 3/4t gas job all winter long. I don't mind keeping the miles off the new truck, it just entices me to strive for better mileage and not drive like a idiot. I have better things to spend my money on than overpriced fuel. $1.029 today in Lloydminster for regular and .4c back at can tire.

Do you know how many people run diesel's in Alberta? Not only pick-ups but all the construction equipment. Simple supply & demand that's the reason.

Diesel pick-ups are great but for them to be cost beneficial one had best be towing serious weight regularly otherwise??? There expensive to buy, run, and maintain.

The NWR refinery should help with the supply in 3 years or so.

Our Wrangler was filled at .98 per liter today. Thats all fine and dandy if one has an alternative. Think of the people that need to make their living via diesel fuel though. Fricken terrible......

Diesel prices are absolutely ridiculous here as well and did what Ken is doing. I went and bought a 98 Suburban, 2500 4x4 with a 350 and have parked both diesels for the winter.

Pretty harsh statement. Please provide back up to more clearly explain such a dramatic statement.
