Default City Hunting

Ha ha ha

Been in the city since 2002.

I don't typically hunt, But tonight I got my first gopher ever.
Outside of work the staff have been feeding the buggers....

Managed to run one over.

I was joking with someone about wanting to hunt them cause they were so prolific there.

Shootin' gophers is a great way to spend the day. Let the boy run wild with a sling shot, have a great time.

city officials would be mad if I tried to do it inside town limits.
He keeps trying to catch the jack rabbits outside the community center.
Very quietly sneaks up on them....

Lol ah man, I remember back in my day setting up a cardboard box, with a paintmixing stick holding it up attached to some string and waiting for some critter to go under it. Never caught anything, we were also in a residential community, this was the mid 90's. Seems like forever ago.

I can remember snaring gophers in a field across from our house in town growing up. Kite string with a loose loop on it and wait, and wait and miss. Then wait and wait and miss. Caught a couple of them that way and the novelty wore off.

A friend of mine swerved to hit one in Calgary on some road on the east side somewhere and some lady followed him and had a little freak out session on him for killing an innocent creature.

Not to brag...but I once got two at the same time. I believe I used an lt235/85r16 load range E...(way too much gun).

I got one the other day with my 155/85r13. It's all about wheel placement.

We started off with the wooden orange crates, but quickly learnt that they work best if you flip them right side up with a hinged lid and a baited stick holding up the lid. Caught tons of house sparrows and even a few waxwings.
