Winnipeg/Nashville are going to beat each other until there is no energy left. Vegas will capitalize and make the final.

I don't think this game 7 situation is good for Winnipeg. My heart says Winnipeg, but my mind says Nashville.

I texted my friend after the second period, and said if Jets didn't have a good third period and get some momentum (even if they didn't win) they were going to be in tough for game 7. They under performed...I have to say I'm concerned for their chances now. Hoping, but not anticipating......

Winner will win the cup.

I think it will be the winner of Tampa - Caps series who will take the Cup. But really don't even know where to start predicting the winner of that round.

Winnipeg will, in all likelihood, loose tomorrow. I will keep my fingers crossed, but...

Will cheer for Caps if the Jets can't pull it off. Glad they knocked out the Pens.

Haven't been following the games but hope it is Washington or Las Vegas that get the win. Would be great for Ovechkin to get a win, he has definitely earned it.

A couple of quick, weird goals, Rinne chased after 9 minutes and seven shots....great start for Jets, but that is some crazy puck luck! 2-0 early!

What's even worse is that clown should have been doing time for diving, instead of scoring on the pp!

Tell me about it....Flames beat Tampa in OT game Six and still got the Cup stolen from them. Marty Gelinas deserved a ring for his playoff performance that year....

We can't dwell on the past. We don't want to be like "those other guys".

Right now, it's about Winterpeg

And Jets score, and then another weak penalty against them.

Phew...I guess I didn't jinx it after all! Good job for the Jets, I was worried after game Six. Good on em for getting it done.

Great stuff today! Well done, Jets! Against the odds!

Hopefully, I am wrong in my prediction in the Knights/Jets series, but here is the forecast:
- Vegas will win the series in 6 (maybe less);
- very tough call here, and more of a guess, but I think (or hope) Washington will win over Tampa in 7 games.

Thoughts?

At the start of the playoffs I picked Winnipeg to go all the way because I figured them to be Canada’s team. Vegas won me over because of their play and .....Oh......what a Cinderella story that’d be. NOW, I have a dilemma. Patriotism vs possibly the greatest sports success stories ever (I want the movie rights). I think that I’ll sit on the fence for once and be happy with whoever wins and root for them winning the cup.

It’d be nice to see OV win a cup too though. I’m so confused.
