Default Gone but not forgotten

This past Thursday we had to say goodbye to our little girl.
We had her for almost 11 years, but just after Christmas cancer reared it's ugly head. We had two more weeks with her, but then it took her.

I thought I'd post her picture because a few members might remember hunting with her.

Hold them fast, give them lots of rubs and walks. We never know how much time we have with our best friends.

That’s a total bummer, Sorry for your loss! Amazing how they transition to being so much more than a pet as time progresses!

Sorry to hear of the loss. She looks like she was a great dog. You'll think of her often.

So sorry for your loss.
I have said goodbye to many furred hunting buddies over the years and it never gets easier.

Thanks to all the warm responses.
This is my second, and it definitely isn't easier the second time.

So sad to hear, beautiful pup, unconditional love that’s why it’s hurts so much.

Beautiful dog and part of the family for sure. Having been through it too many times but my office is full of memories that never go away.

Sorry to hear this. Been there a few times growing up and then with my own dogs. I had 3 GSP's, the last made it to 16 & 1 month. Hurts hard each time, I know how your feeling. Take care, my vet sent me the poem Rainbow Bridge when the second one(quick cancer as well at age 12) passed at home in his bed. It helped us feel a bit better.

Thanks everybody for your support.
It has been tough, but it's definitely made easier by her younger brother..

You start off with our little girl then proceed to say it's a dog... ??
