Default brass tumbler

I'm thinking of getting into a brass tumbler with SS pins. I'm wondering if anybody has tried the Uncle Weiners tumblers?

I've heard some of the SS pins get into primer holes. Advice on which to get? Also, if you have any suggestions for a "starter kit" as an alternative to the uncle weiners?

Never done it. Know it has a great reputation. Quite interested. Thoughts please? People on here seem to know where to go to get the bargains, hence asking.

Thanks

RCBS Green Bowl, Hornady Red Bowl, then there is the Orange bowl and then a Franklin, but it is smaller than the three previously mentioned ones.

The only tumbler I can see on uncle wieners appears to be a dry media type.

This is the kit that I've found but again, I don't have enough information about these machines.

At least from what I can tell, that uncle wieners tumbler isn’t intended to work as a wet tumbler. It also appears to be quite limited in capacity only 3 pounds in each drum, my thumlers holds 15 I believe. It is worth considering as well that if buying a cheaper model the pins will have to be purchased separately and they aren’t cheap. I use the Frankfort arsenal pins in mine, never had any issues with them getting stuck in flash holes.

Got this one about 7 years ago or more and still running great. Maybe shipping now isn't worth it, but check it out.

That uncle Weiners tumbler is a wet tumbler. Need wet slurry to polish rocks.

Harbor Freight doesn't seem to offer the ability to enter a Canadian address. I will try calling them.

Default Tumbling brass

Use Thumblers drum style. Playing with pins got to be too much. Use Lemi-shine, Sunlight dish detergent and hot water. Cleans cartridges inside and out, without pins.
