Few weeks ago ice was around 2.5 ft thick, I bet you soon will need extension, tons of cars driving on it. No luck for us but we only fished for few hrs in afternoon. Nice fish cops stopped by and said hi.

Yesterday, 3 ft. of ice and lot's of snow so if you don't have a 4X4 you might want to rethink it. You most likely will be needing an extension on your auger.

We put in about 6hrs and no burbs, a few were caught on the far west end and a bud of mine caught a decent laker by the clifs last week.

Fish any transition from the old river bed onto a shallower sand/silty flat, they'll be there but getting them to bite is the question.

I have fished that lake hard. Very tough lake to fish. Don't know why, it's just been one of the toughest lakes I've ever fished.

Same here, fish are there but hard to catch. One of my theories is that its full of feed so your bait gets ignored.

Cold deep lakes are not productive.

Fish are slow growing in Ghost and their populations are modest.
