Default Help me decide folks

In a week or 2 im going fishing/camping on a trout stream max 4 hours from my place in at albert

Thinking

The clear water
Or prarie creek?

Mcleod river?

Let me know what you guys think?

Racehorse creek is another option just for the shear beauty of that stream im willing to driver further

Low water levels = better big river fishing. I'd say the upper athabasca for big bulls. Gotta get the 8 wt out this year.

Might be a long hike between pools on the McLeod or clearwater, but I haven't seen them recently.

Yeah this is true on the mcleod off why 47 and yellowhead

Pools are far between for sure

I'm eyeing up the cline river for August long weekend. I don't know how low it is this year.

how about the Blackstone. some nice cuthroats in that river and beautiful scenery to boot. lots of good access spots also all along the river and lots of its tribs are also worth fishing.
