Default Chain Lakes (Ponoka) Ice Fishing

Has anyone on here ever fished the north lake on the ice? I spent a ton of time out there this summer and really enjoyed the fishing. Just wondering if its still good fishing in the winter and if the access gets plowed to get a vehicle down to the ice? Thanks for any help.

Used to ice fish it, and catch. Havent in a few years and dont know about the access, but they always used to plow it. Wouldnt recomend driving on. There are supposedly springs in a few spots. Good luck! Biggest ive seen out of there was 7lbs, but like you say can be fun!

Thanks for the response, i went for a drive today to check it out. Definitely no access to the lake by truck, road down has not been plowed this year. Gonna have to go in on snowmobile if i want to try, no tracks on the lake so far this year.
