Default Muzzle brake

Due to a shoulder injury I'm looking at putting a brake on my 7mmRM Weatherby Vanguard to avoid further separating the joint. I'm looking for suggestions for a good clamp on that doesn't break the bank or a good shop to visit in the Calgary area to get it done. Can find lots online for 308 or 5.56mm but having a tough time with 7mm.

Thanks in advance.

If you can not find one just use a 308 one it will still help a lot ! RJ

Get a hold of Grizzly Gun Works out of Ontario. I put one of his clamp on Defcons On my 300 Wby and it kicks like a 22-250 now. You need a measurement at the muzzle and a measurement 1 inch down from the muzzle. The info is on their web site. I am so glad I got mine.

Search up a old thread by Dean2. He does a great review on a clamp on brake. I think the brand was kahntrol. Witt is another great brand.

Witt Machine has their brakes on sale...like 66.75USD, if price matters.

Take a close look at the Kahntrol. If you go to their website you can get a much better picture of exactly how they work, as well as the videos on mounting, setup etc. I specifically why I chose the Kahntrol versus many of the other and less expensive clamp on brakes because it is adjustable for taper, barrel size, timing and alignment, unlike most clamp on brakes.

Also Insite Arms In Loydminister makes nice brakes that have a collar so you can time them yourself. Makes it nice to share the same brake with multiple rifles.

Default Muzzle break

Henny Remple in Langdon is a great guy who just did the wife’s 6.5 prc machined the barrel and custom machines the break right there . Was really reasonable I thought $175 -200. Kicks like a heavy barrel
243 now . Good tuck

Remple will be able to fix u up down there. None of them are too picky when timing fluted barrels or brakes.
