I bought the big Sthil 600 several years ago and love it. I have hardly used a shovel since. It is not the best in 3 ft of wet sticky snow but either is it shoveling. If you have never used or have used but unfortuneatly didnt figure how to make it work I am sorry for your loss. This thing pretty much blows any snow we have in these parts very well. Or you can just keep breaking your back and shovel your snow.

Still 600 here......but I won't get rid of the snowblower either. It gets used when the snow gets deep

All right, let's see you boys blow the snow around in Edmonton today with your namby pamby little leaf blowers.

Case of Pilsner I have left over from last Christmas to the first one that can prove it.

I admit I can't blow everything well with my Stihl 600 but unless its over my knees or real wet sticky snow it takes care of most snow falls we get here. How much did you get?

Not a lot, maybe 4" accumulation, but thick and heavy accumulation like I haven't seen it in years. I did the whole block with the snow blower as well as the elderly neighbors driveways as I expected if they were to try shoveling I may have been minus a couple of neighbors real quick.

Almost constant use during a snowfall.

It drives my buddy absolutely bananas, as he often works nights and this guy is out there all the time no matter what using the blower.

Sometimes I phone him and bring up the subject just to hear him go off, lol. That's what friends are for right?

"So, has your neighbor been out with the leaf blower today?" (put down phone, go make a sandwich, come back several minutes later....)

Absolutely that’s what friends are for.

Bought a Husquevarna 580 BTS last weekend. $10 more than the BR600 and 4 year warranty. Almost too high powered for blowing leaves, idled most of the time. Figured if I bought one it wouldn't snow this year. Oh darn my luck.
