Default Wabamum Lake

Fishing very slow again at Wabamum Lake Starting from Aug .24 onward .
Not sure why ,is it the fishing lines ripping out their teeth from the heavey fishing pressure or is it from the oil spill ,as many of the fish have a mouth grouth or infection now.
Open for discussion .

i hav yet to see any less than healthy fish in my experiences; i have always found there to be a lull in the action there at the end of summer. that being said i haven't spent too much time out there this season yet. guess we'll see...
cheers

Default High Water Temperature

Hi JR.

I haven't been to Seba (and talked to my nephew's sons) since the August long weekend but my hunch is a higher water temperature. It has (finally) been a hot and dry August.

You mentioned the oil spill; on the south side of the pond my relatives have not seen any oil balls or slick. Someone else from the south side maybe able to add to this?

Dick
