Default Trapline Pictures

How come no one puts any pictures on anymore from their traplines?
It was always the best thread of all on here when trappers used to put up pictures!!!

I know it's always controversial for the nuts to jump all over the thread, but to he!! with them, this is an OUTDOOR forum and if you don't like it or don't agree with it, DONT LOOK AT IT!!!!

Thanks,
Gabby!!!

Quite possibly because so few are trapping this year bud,...with fur prices so lower a guy can't cover his cost so no cable is hung or traps laid .

That’s what i was thinking. Most people I know who still trap including myself do it for a winter activity or in their small way to keep the tradition alive. With fuel at the current prices and the cost of everything else going through the roof you pick one or two things to trap and call it a day.

Word on the wire from Manitoba this evening was that marten averaged $60-$70 , wolves $200-$250 and beaver $30-$40 at the Thompson Fur Table.....Canadian currency.

It was said that some trappers had harvested over 200 marten. Official prices and volumes not posted yet!

Default marten

Nice to see marten pelts coming up to near $100 for best 2x/3x fur if average was around $60- $70. Always liked Brian B. calling them $100 bills.

Southwest, nice trapping pictures and good catches. However you might send those Canada Goose parka's back to sender, after they quit supporting us trappers.

I am not a trapper but keep posting pics and stories too.

Outdoor adventures are always nice to read about.

He is fluffed right up! Beauty! Might be 1.2 million fleas under that rug.

Wow he looks beautiful. I have bumped into what I believe to be Fox dens but I have never bumped into a Fox while I have been in the bush in Aberta yet. I would love to see one.

Great to see the kids out and about and finding how awesome it is rather than sitting on the couch with their games! Far better education!

Yes the Goose quit supporting us but I had over ten years of hundred pluse dollar coyotes, cause Canada goose used coyote trim. Fashion trends come an go. I sure like seeing fur worn in Canada especially city folks that would look at me funny when I said thanks for supporting trappers.
