Thumbs up Welcome a buddy of mine The Anvil

Folks this is a fellow Goon Squad member, for those who may know him as Ice Anvil from such other forum groups as The tackle box , Ice shanty and a few others this guy is great to fish with , I told him about this awesome Group and he joined ,Welcome To AO (alberta outdoorsmen) Jon .

Why thanks BBJ..... looking forwards to swaping a few fish tales and share some info on this awesome sport. I have a great passion for fishing and always looking to improve my techniques and skills on many of Alberta's and surrounding waters!

Thanks everyone....

Now if the weather is as warm as the greetings have been then it should be some good fishing ahead. That white was pulled outta pigeon lake during hardwater. Here is a better pic of it~!

I am a whitefish slayer..lol I usually only keep one and there is dinner!

Here is one I caught on the Mecleod River, Took that pic up at Fickle lake campground right before supper!

Ive lived here my whole life I know . The best is when we get that lovely smell in town smells kind of like wet grain but its not some sort of fumes lingering from the plants , not to mention explosions at them aswell.Its just time before Dow or scottford goes up like a roman candle.

I have hunted and fished with a certain guy from Fort Sask, and believe me he has not shown me one hot spot to hunt or fish in yet!

i was thinking this weekend down at the "keyhole" as you call it. but remembered its mothers day, and getting castrated at 30 is not an option. i am gonna run saturday, as i have a $2000-3000 tab to pay in a couple months
