There isn't one for this year yet...date hasn't been named, do a search and you will find the past years threads.

Here is last years, I couldn't make it too much time away from home competing at a different event.

No known ranges....I have to be the worst range estimator alive. Took a poke at a coyote last year that I thought was a little over 300....after it jogged away I ranged the spot at 420....yep I am that bad.

It will not be on my friends farm. But we can find a spot near Edmonton I am sure. I will be using a range finder, because I do on hunts as well.

No man I am really bad. My hunting partner still gives me sideways looks like "are you kidding" when I guess a target distance. It is my Achilles heel. Practice and learn I guess.

I am not trying to be a horse's arse, I just have never met or personally seen a guy who can consistently hit pie plates at 500 yards offhand. If you video that feat, you would be regarded as one hell of a shot, and my guess is questioning of you would instantly stop. I know that I would have mad respect for that. Not that that matters a pinch of salt anyhow.

Edmhunter and Bergerboy we can shoot at my house. Might be a lonely drive back when somebody gets schooled. A little cold and breezy today. We could maybe setup a date. My schedule is up in the air right now but should know more this coming week.

Hythe is about 4 hours too far for me. I do appreciate the offer but I think this can be done a little closer to home like maybe Genesee?

If I was permitted to shoot in this event, I would bring my long range Bullseye camera system. Being it's offhand, I want a deposit for the full value before a single round goes down range.

Are you referring to Edmhunter? At 500 yards I would be happy to hit a sheet of drywall freehand.

I think one can and one can't. Have to shoot from inside the house just to be safe. Lol. Barn might not be safe. Might be better to go to neighbors range and shoot his house.

Here's a youtube of a guy taking down five rams at 500 metres, offhand,
at the NRA championships. In the youtube search line, type:

Long Range Steel Target Shooting - 5 Rams from 500 meters

You really like making up stories and live in a world of make believe don't you? You are full of it and I call you out and ask you to show everyone here, where I stated that I "can consistently hit pie plates at 500 yards offhand". I never said, wrote or posted that. Fact is that you will not find that anywhere!

Grow up!

I don't believe I seen where that was posted but the impression I had was that you're quite handy with princess and you can make these shots on a regular basis.

Here is the statement in question.

Quote:
I am not bragging, but I am an excellent shot and do not require more trigger time. When I got my Browning Mountain Ti 300 WSM back from Corelanes with the Huskema set up on it, I took it out of the case and just leaning against my truck at 500 yards hit a 10" target 4 times almost dead center.
But he wasn't bragging.

Maybe he won't notice if I ask this.
What makes one rifle more reliable than another? I've got some junk in my safe that function as good as my not so junk rifles.

Exactly! there you go, when its a fact it's not bragging, never said I hit pie plates consistently, I only stated what took place, when I first shot my BMTi. Anyhoo.......I offered a competition, anyone wants to take me up on it can PM me, I am game.

Absolutely! According to our government I became a Clear and Present Danger to Society as well as a devious criminal without a valid PAL
