Wondering if someone can 'school' me on Frank Lake

Anyone know what the current status of Frank Lake is with respect to hunting?

Signs there indicate the site is 'closed' because of COVID

Is the entire site closed (including the shoreline) or are they just referring to the boardwalk and blind?

Also lots of signage stating "managed Nesting Area" - seems to suggest no hunting; but the DUC site and the ACA site do not indicate any restrictions on hunting

There are no restrictions at that site as of right now besides the viewing blind being closed. Shoot away.

I have noticed the west side of basin 2 is not huntable right now due to abnormal vegetation growth. Lots of ducks but no chance of a dog retrieving them through all that.

Ok thanks for this - did notice it was rather dense in areas and access will be an issue
