Default Prince Rupert

I'm looking for info on where to go crabbing. I would really like to catch some king crab this year. We have the gear for it just don't know where to go, we usually fish anywhere from eddy pass up to North Dundas and stay on the boat. Any info on dungeness in those areas would be great to, the only crab we get are close to Rupert.

Big bay is awesome for crab. Some of the best I have ever eaten was there. BIG and plentiful.

I have been looking for King info too, have heard south for the big beasts. I have pics from there that are just sickening (they are that huge)

Unfortunately Dundas is pretty barren of crab... Gotta stick to the mainland for them. I saw pictures of some King crab being caught with hoop nets out in the channel near Kittamat, and have heard about them being caught up near Anyox (abandon mine town) way N/W of the work channel... Not sure if they're migratory or what season would be best... Caught a few baby kings in my prawn traps in about 350' of water ...

Thanks for the info guys, I have heard of small kings being caught in welcome harbour as well. Anyone been up to winter inlet? Looks pretty crabby in there.

I have never heard of any reliable places even after picking the locals minds for 15 years now.
