Default Sparrows egg

Fly Fished Sparrows egg on opening day today. Me and 11 other gentlemen. filled with 9-12 inchers, no big fish. Must have winter killed. For us, Holy Grail nymphs, or small lightning bugs, on a sink tip worked well. Several chironomind fisherman also having success. Still worth the hike in. Cheers.

I must have been fishing beside you guys for a while today at the far end of the lake. I think I was #5 to arrive at the lake this morning, which surprised me a bit since it was 6:30 or so. Nice weather, despite no big fish.

thats awesome...I tried to find that lake last sept long but gave up quickly because the most direct route was through visitors centre, and first day
there were 3 large grizzly in the field...following day there were only 2, so I wasnt going to attempt to find it by going from the campsite...lol
