Default Police or Payne Lake

Thinking of heading to Police or Payne Lake. Anybody been to either of these lakes lately? Thanks in advance.

Or since you are on this fly fishing forum provide input versus directing to another forum?

I am curious also...however don't like the other forum.

I have fished Police about 10 times this year, and we've found it to be quite a bit slower than it was last year, both in terms of numbers of fish and numbers of larger fish. Most of the larger fish that I've caught have been 17-18", maybe the odd 19". None over 20" for me yet though. On the brighter side, I've caught some fish with good weight for their length. They've stocked the lake this year again, and the last times I've been out most of the fish we caught were the smaller ones.

I haven't fished Payne for years, but that's because I always had better luck at Police.
