Default Frank Lake & Clear Lake

Working the maps, I noticed a lake called Frank Lake sourtheast of Calgary and one called clear lake east of staveley.

I could not find either one in the regs or in the alberta fishing guide publication!

Does anyone have any experience or information on these spots? How is the fishing, is it public etc...?

Do a search on Clear lake on these forums, it's been mentioned many times....too many in fact so maybe just ignore this post

Not sure about Frank, from what I've been told its more of a slough for bird watching. It was drained in the 80's so anything in there now only got there through the pipeline or by other non natural means. http://www.ducks.ca/province/ab/proj...ank/index.html

Clear lake is listed in as reservoirs that arent named. The regulations should be at the top of the pp1 page. As for fishing there lots of burbots at night, they can easily be 5 pounds. When we iced fished there someone with a camera said they saw trout, white fish, trout, burbot and walleye on there cam. Heard and seen of some 20+lb lunkers coming outta there.
