“Unofficial” range near Calgary

Does anyone know of a nice little accessible place to sight in my new (and first!) deer rifle. The Sibbald Flats public range is just nuts this time of year. There must be someplace nearby offering a suitable embankment and a flat field of fire where one can go and safely make some noise in relative privacy...
