Zinc Phosphate plating?

I was wondering if zinc phosphate plating is the technical term for parkerizing, I did a search online and by the sounds of it, it is the same process.

it is a type of parkerizing. the finish is not as black and more of a grey than traditional parkerizing

we do it in our shop it's great for rust protection
