Default Fishing post challenge - attention all anglers

Our fine volunteer mods have kindly requested more fishing photos.

I have posted some in both fishing and fly fishing.

Let’s get some pictures flowing.

And hey… throw your own fishing picture challenge threads out and see what comes.

Got a couple springs before they closed it down. Been bottom fishing, waiting for coho to show up

A tasty 16 lb. NSR pike from the past. And a brookie in a brook. I never took many fishing pictures thru the years.

Default Todays catch

Got the family out for some fishing and cruising today. Launched late…9am, slow motored in heavy fog until 1030 when it cleared up. Ran out to a familiar reef and only got 45 minutes of fishing in when the northwest blew up and we headed into the harbour for some crabbing and lounging in the sun. But we managed to land this beauty…my biggest yet…35 pounder. Kids loved it…good day in the sun.

Keep ‘em tight.
Tom

I got out for the afternoon/evening flood tide north of Campbell River on Saturday. It was a 12’ tide so tough fishing but we managed to find some Lings.

Few nights ago on Travers. Caught about 60 fish between 2 of us, didn’t even need bait, just a twister tail pounding on bottom and they were hammering it.
