Dude is gassed by that point of the game. The ice time him and McDavid log in a game is crazy. May be that point of the season where they can't keep it up.

The German has been sub par that last couple of games imo

Draisaitl looked horrible most of the night, couldn’t make a pass, couldn’t receive a pass, slow as balls! The long shifts he has been taking along with all the minutes he’s been playing are creeping up on him I’m afraid!

SAbres on the back end of a back-to-back and this was their 3rd game in 4 nights with travel to and from Van City. SOILERS are sinking (or is it stinking)

Way too fancy with the passes.......SHOOT! Geeze, even if you’re hitting pads you are forcing the (tired) goalie to make a save and the rebound may come to a team mate. A point is a point though I guess.

Brutal! They don't want to slide too much. Last six games, two wins and four losses. Down 3-0 at the end of the first. Still a long season. Playoffs are not guaranteed.
