Default twin valley report

went out to twin yesterday for some late season open water and some early season ice. managed 3 whites and about 6 pike. i was very suprised to see the whites never caught any in there or herd of any being caught but great fighters biggest pushing 5 pounds. managed to find some 5" ice on a deep bay which made me very excited and managed to catch my first few fish threw the ice this winter. the lake is still open for the most part but slush and some ice is present so it wont be long now with these cold temps till its frozen.

Sounds like a good day out.
Did you catch the whites in the lake upstream of the dam? And if so were they monster mountain whites or definitely lake whites? Would sure be interesting if lake whitefish showed up in there, probably help the pike grow to even more ridiculous sizes.
