4.5-14 Zeiss Conquest with Rapid Z 800 is what mine wears. Makes a deadly long-range hunting rig that's for sure.

My custom 7 STW has Leupold LR 4.5 x 14 x40 AO on it with Duplex reticle.
140 grain Barnes TTSX with 84 grains of H1000 is what she likes at 3450ft/second for 160grains is Barnes MRX at 3300 ft/sec.

As for scope I tried different reticles and I shoot best with Duplex.
I am familiar with trajectory of my load so if it is 12 inches low at 500 yards when set 3 inches high at 100 why would you clutter you field of view with multi point reticles?

What type of hunting you do with this gun ? How far you are confident to shoot? Bush or open and long shots expected? ; mountains where weight is important this should be considered when choosing a scope, are you after game that can hunt you ?

I use Duplex reticle and Shephunter is using Zeiss rapid z 800 so everybody has preference for those things.
I was thinking about upgrading for this gun and Nightforce in 5.5 x22 came to mind ....I would choose 56 mm for gun that you not intending to go sheep hunting with.
If you have cash burning in your pocket than maybe Zeiss with rangefinder for 4000- 4500 is best of the best

I like basic & mil-dot reticle's I find alot of the other x-hairs too busy for my liking.I Refuse to use a range finder and can still crank deer at far ranges with regular x-hairs no problem.I also like the swaro scopes, but they are $$$$ so zeiss would be my choice! what model of rifle do you got chambered in the 7mmstw? or is it custom?

My own 7mmstw rifles both wear Swarovski 3-10x42 scopes with duplex reticles, and they work well on big game to 500 yards. Both rifles like the 140gr tsx ahead of imr 7828.The 140gr ballistic tip also works well with the same powder.
