Default North sask bridge

I notice driving over the bridge at firt sask there is a dirt road that goes down under the bridge. Anyone ever fished there? Is it a good spot? Tips?

Looking on google maps satelite image you can see the river pretty good. about 2km upstream are islands that look like they would have some holding water.

The best way to know is to go spend a couple hours there. Exploring makes for knowledge and fish. It is sort of narrow at the bridge that funnels the fish more so you never know.

There is a big sand bar on the Edmonton side of the river that should be visible if the water drops any lower. Not sure what it's like on the other side, but I can't recall ever seeing anyone fishing there.

It looks like it might be a party spot. I went down there to take a look a couple of weeks ago. There was a old beat up mattress and a truckload of beer cans scattered all around down there.
Someone with a family was down there. They said no fish caught and they were there a few hours. Looked to be pretty shallow.
