For a few years we wall tented way back off Lynx Creek when I hunted elk in there, that was aprox 15 yrs ago, seen a couple small ones in that time. Lots of bush and high hills and the valleys long. They could live in many places and never be seen. Good luck, I truly enjoyed chasing elk in there. Beautiful country.

Depends how long your going to hunt and what time of season, there would be very little hunting pressure with only 5 tags to draw from so that's nice..harvest results from last few years vary from 0-3 bulls shot...if scouted I couldn't see why you wouldn't find him, especially in the rut, some decent clear cuts, and trails threw there...I'm not sure if the reserve above it has much hunting pressure in there.. I'd make a 3-4 day scouting trip and then apply !

About 15 years ago the wife and I were on our way back on the quad from fishing Lynx creek and just before dark we drove up on one of the larger bull moose I've ever seen. He was easily 50+" in velvet and he just stood there. As I recall it was in August sometime. Never hunted it but beautiful country back there as Sooner said.....

We took alot of moose out of there 20 years ago still must be many more .
We always hunted the power line that ran between Ram Mountain and Sask river.
A lot of creeks that ran out of Ram Mountain would hold some nice bulls .
Some of those Bulls took over 1 hr to walk out after calling.
Been finding that more and more in other areas ,might be because of the wolfs, as they hardly call back .

Default Late season tag last year.

Had the draw last year was disappointing. Logging full force both sides of ram mtn . Game was scarce . Not much better along the north ram. They built a new rd from the old shell lease all the way to the north ram and looks like they're crossing the river south. Thunder mtn was wolf central. I was out two weeks seen one cow moose. Only place I didn't go was lynx crk. Early season might be better.
