Here is Antler Carver's description & Picture:

Bottom of barrel has 3-4 in. hole. Bolt bathroom toilet bowl flange with 6 bolt holes to bottom of barrel under the hole, then plumbing tee on to the flange then 2 plumbing pipe on to the tee.

If pipes are cut off to short, grain will pour out, if pipe is to long, animals have
difficulty getting grain. Put grain in barrel first to see how far the grain comes out the pipes, then cut the pipes about 2-3 inches beyond the grain. We use oats.

We have moved it to about 30 ft. from dining room window for taking pictures. We have year after year pictures of some animals.

When weather warms up we quit feeding.

Cheers,
Nog

Yesterday a buck that comes to the feeder lost his antlers. Last year he lost them on Jan. 02, this year on Jan.02- 03. The elk farmer say their bulls lose antlers on the same day each year and it looks like deer are similar.

Cool set up, and you have a nice antler trap there too. For the ones that are still packing.

I agree. I would like to be able to share pictures from the last many 12 years of being a member here but unable to figure out how to post pictures. Wish it was more user friendly.

I found and Tapatalk on Google and tried using it to post a picture here. Every picture I tried to post says it’s failed to load.

When tapatalk works, it's great. Sometimes it won't load my pics. They keep failing. And it likes to sign me out when I'm in the middle of writing a post. But then it works great. Try restarting your device and trying again. It's what I use on my phone.
