Default R I.P. Ken Block

He will be missed. Such an icon in the motorsports industry and a cool guy in general...

Another example of how sledding in the mountains is dangerous, even for the more experienced riders.

Quote:
Famed stunt and rally driver Ken Block was killed in Utah on Monday when the snowmobile he was riding up a steep slope flipped on top of him, authorities said.

It’s very sad I was a huge fan. Always wore his hat and shoes.

Condolences to the family.

Don't know how much input he had into them, but the Mustang above and this where two of my favorites that he drove:

I seen it on a post at Alberta Sledderz and was shocked to hear the news. Loved his vids, the Mustang one is my favorite.

I have rode the big hills, stuff can happen fast. Gone too soon. Thanks for making me go wow when watching your stuff.

So sad. I've watched so many of his videos over the years, and the words that come to mind are: Amazing. Professional. Perfection.

Safety measures were always priority for him.

Godspeed to him and his family.

Just speculating, but reports say he was alone at the time of the accident - but "riding with a group"...

Guessing the sled came over on top of him and either broke his neck, or maybe his sternum/ribcage and punctured his lung or suffocated him. Possibly died before help found / got to him.

Again, a sad moment in the automotive & motorsports industries...

R.I.P. Mr KEN Block. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and all who personally knew him. He is one of the best at his occupation for sure. He made some awesome and memorable video moments. Hard to believe he is no longer with us. He will surely be missed by all his followers, family and friends.
